Importance of Bio-Organic Manure in Agriculture:
WHAT IT CONTAINS?
Rich Organics is a unique bioorganic soil enricher made from
biodegradable organic substances, mainly of plant origin, through
controlled accelerated microbial composting process developed by our
company. Rich Organics is a dark brownish, free flowing powder
having earthy smell and
free from viable weed seeds and pathogens.
WHAT IT CONTAINS?
* Rich Organics contains well-matured organic matter
and growth promoting substances of biological origin.
* Rich Organics contains major & minor trace elements
available in a form that facilitates its entry into
the plant system in totality like chelated nutrients.
* Rich Organics has free living nitrogen fixing and
phosphate solubulising microorganisms to benefit
plants.
It should be understood that the aim of any good
organic manure is to supply fully bio- converted
organic matter in a form that can support microbial
and plant life.

HOW IT HELPS THE FARMERS?
Now a days, agricultural lands generally have low
levels of organic matter, due to increasing focus on
monoculture and changing agricultural practices. This
low level of soil organic matter has resulted in the decline of soil
fertility and crop productivity, in
spite of higher levels of input usage. The addition of
good organic matter and agronomically useful microbes
helps in restoration and maintenance of soil
fertility. Rich Organics offers not only short-term
benefits, but long term benefits TOO.
* It improves the soil's structural properties like
porosity, bulk density, aggregation, aeration and
water holding capacity.
* It improves the availability of fertilizer
nutrients by its absorption, storage and slow release.
* It is very effective in converting waste/problematic lands to arable lands. The rehabilitation
time for soils can be reduced.
* It rejuvenates the
soil's biological properties by
introducing a rich and effective inoculum of
agronomically useful microbes.
HOW IT COMPLEMENTS THE USE OF CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS?
Chemical fertilizer contains plant nutrients (NPK) as
mineral salts in a quick release form. However they do
not have any organic or biological contents.
Application of Rich Organics along with chemical
fertilizers provides full biological and balanced
nutritional support to the soil and plants. Rich Organics also reduces the loss of nutrients through
leaching and volatilization (as in case of nitrogen).
Rich Organics stores and releases plant nutrients
steadily over the cropping period. Addition of Rich Organics therefore increases
'fertilizer usage
efficiency' considerably.
HOW IS IT SUPERIOR TO FARM YARD MANURE (FYM)/LOCAL
COMPOST?
* Although FYM/ Local compost is normally a very rich
source of organic matter, but often it is not properly
composted and stabilized. Rich organic is a very rich
source of well decomposed and fully stabilized organic
matter.
* FYM normally contains weed seeds, insects and
pathogens. Rich Organics contains no viable weed seeds
and is free from any pathogens.
* The dosage of Rich
Organics is nearly 1/10th of
that of FYM. It is free flowing, hygienic and comes
nearly packed in ready to use form. The free flowing
nature facilitates inter- row application. It is
available round the year with the assurance of uniform
and standardized quality.
HOW TO APPLY Rich Organics?
Rich Organics should be mixed well into the top 20-25
cm. Layer of the soil. This is the area where active
growth and development of roots take place.
WHEN TO APPLY?
Normally, it should be applied at the time of soil/land preparation; however inter-row application can
also be done. In case of perennials (like fruit
trees), June, July (after monsoon rains) is the best
time to apply Rich Organics.
Rich Organics creates the right kind of conditions for
faster germination and establishment of the root
system. These plants will grow stronger and will have
good natural resistance to pest and diseases. Hence
the application of Rich Organics done prior to seed
sowing or raising of seeding/ transplanting will have
remarkably good results. Ideally Rich Organics should be applied every year. It
is an organic input for enrichment and rejuvenation of
the soil. A healthy soil alone can produce a healthy
crop.
HOW MUCH TO APPLY?
Normally, 500 to 1000Kg. Of Rich Organics per acre per
year is recommended. In soil with low organic matter(such as red or sandy soil) or problematic soil (such
as saline soil) the dosage may be increased up to 3MT
per acre per year.
HOW TO STORE Rich Organics?
Rich Organics contains live beneficial microbes. Hence
it should be stored away from direct sunlight and
rains. While stacking the 50Kg HDPE bags, please limit
the height to 10 bags only.
DETAIL OF DIFFERENT PACK SIZES & GRADES

The organic matter and various microbes together hold
the key for soil productivity. Some of the important benefits are:
- Improved soil structure and better tilth.
- Better soil aeration and water percolation reducing
soil erosion.
- Increased water and nutrient holding capacity.
- Provides reserve plant nutrients.
- Helps in supply of growth promoting substances.
- Contributes to better taste and flavor of produce.
- Provides Phosphate Solubiliser microbes, root nodule
bacteria, nitro bacter etc.,
- Prevent nutrient loss and improves fertilizer usage efficiency.
- Minimises the toxic effect of chemical fertilizers, while
complementing the use of chemical fertilizers.
- Serves as major food source for microbial population
thus keeping the soil live.
- Weed free, Pathogen free.
